Dream… ladder, the presence of God is with His people

Ran away because Esau sought to kill him

Jacob works for marriage… gets 2… 20 years

11 sons, 1 daughter

Yearned to be back home, see mom, show off grandchildren

The Lord is calling Jacob home

1. A Conflict With Jacob

Sons are tired of having Jacob around

3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?
