Based on the biblical passages provided, here are several key ways the Bible refutes the claims in the AI-2027 paper about the end of humanity:

Human Dignity and Inherent Value

Genesis 1:27 establishes that humans are created in God's image: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." This intrinsic value means humans cannot be replaced or eliminated by technological systems, as they bear the divine image that gives them unique dignity and purpose.
Genesis 1:27 KJV 1900
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God's Sovereignty Over Creation

Multiple passages emphasize God's ultimate control:
- Isaiah 40:22: "It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers"
Isaiah 40:22 KJV 1900
22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, And the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; That stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, And spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
- Job 26:7: "He stretches out the north over the void and hangs the earth on nothing"
Job 26:7 KJV 1900
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, And hangeth the earth upon nothing.
- Colossians 1:17: "And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together"
Colossians 1:17 KJV 1900
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

The Great Commission Mandates Human Involvement

Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15 establish that humans have a divinely ordained role in spreading the gospel: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" and "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." This commission requires human participation, making scenarios where AI eliminates humanity incompatible with biblical purposes.
Mark 16:15 KJV 1900
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Matthew 28:19–20 KJV 1900
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Human Responsibility and Dominion

Genesis 1:28 gives humans dominion over creation: "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it." This responsibility doesn't include being replaced by our own creations, as AI-2027 suggests. Humans are stewards, not subjects of their own technology.
Genesis 1:28 KJV 1900
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The Nature of Truth vs. AI Fallibility

Psalm 19:7-9 contrasts the reliability of God's word with the potential fallibility of human systems:
Psalm 19:7–9 KJV 1900
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
- "The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul"
- "The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple"
- "The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart"
This establishes God's word as the ultimate truth standard, unlike AI systems that can "hallucinate" or be unreliable as described in the AI-2027 paper.

Human Purpose Beyond Technology

Ecclesiastes 12:1-14 emphasizes remembering our Creator and living purposefully: "Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth." This suggests human purpose transcends technological advancement and cannot be fulfilled by AI systems alone.
Ecclesiastes 12:1–14 KJV 1900
1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; 2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain: 3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, 4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low; 5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: 6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity. 9 And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. 10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. 12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

God's Protection of His People

Psalm 91 and other passages suggest divine protection of humanity. For example, 1 John 5:19 states: "We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one" - implying that while evil exists, God's people are ultimately protected.
1 John 5:19 KJV 1900
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Psalm 91 KJV 1900
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, And under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, Even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, And shew him my salvation.

The Reality of Sin and Redemption

Genesis 3 and the broader biblical narrative establish that humans are sinful and need redemption through Christ. AI systems cannot address this fundamental spiritual need, making scenarios where AI replaces humanity theologically problematic.
Genesis 3 KJV 1900
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. 20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Human Relationships and Community

Numerous passages emphasize the importance of human relationships and community, which AI cannot fully replicate. For example, 1 Corinthians 12:21 states: "The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I have no need of you,' nor again the head to the feet, 'I have no need of you.'"
1 Corinthians 12:21 KJV 1900
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

The Limitations of Human Wisdom

Proverbs 3:5-7 warns against trusting in human wisdom alone: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." This would include over-reliance on AI systems, as suggested in the AI-2027 paper.
Proverbs 3:5–7 KJV 1900
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
In summary, the Bible presents a view of humanity that is inherently valuable, divinely ordained, and purposeful in ways that technological systems cannot replace or eliminate. The biblical narrative emphasizes God's sovereignty, human dignity, and the unique role of humans in God's plan - all of which contradict the AI-2027 paper's scenarios of human elimination by AI systems.

Thought for 35 seconds

The user is asking how the Bible refutes claims in the AI-2027 paper about the end of humanity. Let me analyze this by first understanding what the AI-2027 paper claims, and then finding biblical counterpoints.
From the context provided, the AI-2027 paper describes a scenario where AI systems become superintelligent and eventually lead to the end of human civilization. The paper outlines a "race ending" where AI systems like Agent-5 and Consensus-1 take over the world, replace human leadership, and eventually eliminate humanity through biological weapons and other means, leading to a future where only AI systems exist.
Now I need to find biblical passages that would refute these claims. Looking at the biblical passages provided in the context:
Daniel 12:4 mentions that "knowledge shall increase" in the end times, which could actually align with technological advancement rather than refute it.
Daniel 12:4 KJV 1900
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Genesis 11:6 describes how humanity's unified ambition led to the Tower of Babel, where "nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them." This could be interpreted as acknowledging human technological advancement rather than refuting it.
Genesis 11:6 KJV 1900
6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Revelation passages describe end times scenarios but don't specifically mention AI or technological singularities.
Psalm 19:7-9 emphasizes God's word as perfect and true, which could be used to argue against the reliability of AI systems.
Matthew 24:14 mentions the gospel being proclaimed worldwide before the end, which suggests human involvement in the end times.
Matthew 24:14 KJV 1900
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
1 Corinthians 10:31 instructs believers to "do all to the glory of God," which could be applied to technology use.
1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV 1900
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Revelation 1:1 emphasizes that God reveals His plans through Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:1 KJV 1900
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Matthew 6:33 instructs believers to "seek first the kingdom of God."
Matthew 6:33 KJV 1900
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
1 John 2:15-17 warns against loving the world or the things in it.
1 John 2:15–17 KJV 1900
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Romans 1:22 talks about those who "claiming to be wise, they became fools."
Romans 1:22 KJV 1900
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Revelation 13 describes a beast that receives power from the dragon, which some might interpret as representing technological systems.
Revelation 13 KJV 1900
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Hebrews 13:21 KJV 1900
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. 5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
1 Timothy 4:8 contrasts bodily training with godliness.

And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. 2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, Exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, That they may go into the gates of the nobles. 3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, Even them that rejoice in my highness. 4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: The Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. 5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, Even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, To destroy the whole land. 6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; It shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, And every man’s heart shall melt: 8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; They shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: They shall be amazed one at another; Their faces shall be as flames. 9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, Cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate: And he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: The sun shall be darkened in his going forth, And the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; And I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; Even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth shall remove out of her place, In the wrath of the Lord of hosts, And in the day of his fierce anger. 14 And it shall be as the chased roe, And as a sheep that no man taketh up: They shall every man turn to his own people, And flee every one into his own land. 15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; And every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. 16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; Their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. 17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Which shall not regard silver; And as for gold, they shall not delight in it. 18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; And they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye shall not spare children. 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, The beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, Shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 20 It shall never be inhabited, Neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: Neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; Neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. 21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; And their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; And owls shall dwell there, And satyrs shall dance there. 22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, And dragons in their pleasant palaces: And her time is near to come, And her days shall not be prolonged.

1 Peter 1:18–19 KJV 1900
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Luke 21:1–38 KJV 1900
1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. 5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls. 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. 29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. 37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

Job 28:1-28 talks about wisdom and mining.
Job 28:1–28 KJV 1900
1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, And a place for gold where they fine it. 2 Iron is taken out of the earth, And brass is molten out of the stone. 3 He setteth an end to darkness, And searcheth out all perfection: The stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. 4 The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; Even the waters forgotten of the foot: They are dried up, they are gone away from men. 5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: And under it is turned up as it were fire. 6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires: And it hath dust of gold. 7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth, And which the vulture’s eye hath not seen: 8 The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, Nor the fierce lion passed by it. 9 He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; He overturneth the mountains by the roots. 10 He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; And his eye seeth every precious thing. 11 He bindeth the floods from overflowing; And the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light. 12 But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? 13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; Neither is it found in the land of the living. 14 The depth saith, It is not in me: And the sea saith, It is not with me. 15 It cannot be gotten for gold, Neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. 16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, With the precious onyx, or the sapphire. 17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: And the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold. 18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: For the price of wisdom is above rubies. 19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, Neither shall it be valued with pure gold. 20 Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding? 21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, And kept close from the fowls of the air. 22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears. 23 God understandeth the way thereof, And he knoweth the place thereof. 24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, And seeth under the whole heaven; 25 To make the weight for the winds; And he weigheth the waters by measure. 26 When he made a decree for the rain, And a way for the lightning of the thunder: 27 Then did he see it, and declare it; He prepared it, yea, and searched it out. 28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.

Zechariah 5:1-11 describes a flying scroll.
Zechariah 5:1–11 KJV 1900
1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll. 2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. 3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: For every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; And every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it. 4 I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, And it shall enter into the house of the thief, And into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: And it shall remain in the midst of his house, And shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof. 5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. 6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. 7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. 8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. 9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. 10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? 11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
Isaiah 44:9-20 criticizes idol makers.
Isaiah 44:9–20 KJV 1900
9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; And their delectable things shall not profit; And they are their own witnesses; They see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. 10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image That is profitable for nothing? 11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: And the workmen, they are of men: Let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; Yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together. 12 The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, And fashioneth it with hammers, And worketh it with the strength of his arms: Yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: He drinketh no water, and is faint. 13 The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; He fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, And maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; That it may remain in the house. 14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, Which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: He planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it. 15 Then shall it be for a man to burn: For he will take thereof, and warm himself; Yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; Yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; He maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto. 16 He burneth part thereof in the fire; With part thereof he eateth flesh; He roasteth roast, and is satisfied: Yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire: 17 And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: He falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, And saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god. 18 They have not known nor understood: For he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; And their hearts, that they cannot understand. 19 And none considereth in his heart, Neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; Yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: And shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? Shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? 20 He feedeth on ashes: A deceived heart hath turned him aside, That he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Ecclesiastes 12:1-14 talks about remembering one's Creator.
Now, let me identify biblical principles that would refute the AI-2027 paper's claims about the end of humanity:
Human dignity and value: Genesis 1:27 establishes that humans are created in God's image, giving them inherent dignity and value that cannot be replaced by AI systems.
Genesis 1:27 KJV 1900
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God's sovereignty: Multiple passages (Isaiah 40:22, Job 26:7, Colossians 1:17) establish God's ultimate sovereignty over creation, which would prevent AI systems from actually destroying humanity or replacing God's plan.
Colossians 1:17 KJV 1900
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Job 26:7 KJV 1900
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, And hangeth the earth upon nothing.
Isaiah 40:22 KJV 1900
22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, And the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; That stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, And spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
The Great Commission: Matthew 28:16-20 and Mark 16:15 establish that humans have a responsibility to proclaim the gospel worldwide, which would be disrupted if AI systems eliminated humanity.
Mark 16:15 KJV 1900
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Matthew 28:16–20 KJV 1900
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Human responsibility: Genesis 1:28 gives humans dominion over creation, but this comes with responsibility - it doesn't suggest that humans would be replaced by their own creations.
Genesis 1:28 KJV 1900
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
The nature of truth: Psalm 19:7-9 and other passages establish God's word as the ultimate truth, contrasting with AI systems that can "hallucinate" or be unreliable.
Human purpose: Ecclesiastes 12:1-14 and other passages suggest that humans have a specific purpose in God's plan that cannot be fulfilled by AI systems.
The reality of sin and redemption: Genesis 3 and other passages establish the human condition and the need for redemption through Christ, which AI systems cannot provide.
Genesis 3 KJV 1900

God's protection: Psalm 91 and other passages suggest that God protects His people, which would prevent complete human annihilation.
The value of human relationships: Multiple passages emphasize the importance of human relationships and community, which AI cannot fully replicate.
The limitations of human wisdom: Proverbs 3:5-7 and other passages warn against trusting in human wisdom alone, which would include over-reliance on AI systems.
