It’s easy to forget God
It’s easy to forget God
spend more intentional time with God- talk about own struggle and stradegies
Even though we are studing the bible and emmersed in God’s word every day in class, we can lose sight easily of God
We can start to see the bible more like a text book that we have to read for class
we start to see spending time with God as a chore, like something we have to do and not like something we get to do
New International Version (2011) Psalm 23
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley, a
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
and then when we face difficult times, we can lose sight even more of God, like if there are difficult stuff happening at home, or with family, we can become almsot ditatched from school, and life because we are so caught up in it all
Also because there is alot of activities happening on campus, we never want to miss out on those things, so we get so busy, with school and activities, that we never leave time for us and God
New International Version (2011) Chapter 3
22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
in this season it may feel like you have gone from the presence of God but as you learn to draw near to him and lean on him he will reveal himself to you in many unexpected ways
