Romans 1:17 “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
This is a quote from Habakkuk 2:4 “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: But the just shall live by his faith.”
Paul and the author of Hebrews uses this statement in other places too.
Faith plays a foundational role in the life of a believer.
Faith plays a foundational role in the life of a believer.
What is faith? Trust! So Faith in God is trust in God or Trust in His Word. Through this trust it also carries the idea of “active obedience.”
So if you are living faithfully to God you are trusting in Him for everything and living obediently to Him and His Word. That is what a life lived by faith looks like.
You all face a world where you are trying to navigate a world full of pressures, uncertainties, and honestly trying to figure out your identity or who you are in this world.
You all face a world where you are trying to navigate a world full of pressures, uncertainties, and honestly trying to figure out your identity or who you are in this world.
Faith can guide you in all this decisions and struggles. (What do I do here? Trust in God)
Proverbs 3:5–7 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the Lord, and depart from evil.”
It is through this faith that you will grow into the real person God created you to be.
