Short Video Script (4 – 7 minutes)
There are many who believe God only loves perfect people — that they’ve done too much, gone too far, or can’t change.
But hear me: God’s love doesn’t leave you where you are — it transforms you!
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6 : 9-11:
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”
Such were some of you
Paul lists the sins that once ruled our lives — but he doesn’t leave us there.
He says, “Such were some of you.” Past tense!
That’s who you were, not who you are!
When the blood of Jesus covers you, your past no longer defines you.
2 Corinthians 5 : 17 — “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Love That Cleanses and Transforms
God’s love isn’t passive; it’s powerful.
He doesn’t just forgive — He cleanses.
He doesn’t just accept — He transforms.
Romans 5 : 8 — “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
The moment you receive Jesus, the Holy Spirit begins working inside of you.
He doesn’t patch you up — He makes you new.
You Are Justified
Justified means “just as if I’d never sinned.”
Through the blood of Jesus, your record is wiped clean.
You are declared righteous — not because of your works, but because of His.
Romans 3 : 24 — “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
When the enemy whispers, “You’ll never change,”
you can declare, “I’m washed, I’m sanctified, I’m justified!”
God Still Changes Lives Today
Some say, “People can’t change.”
But God specializes in transformation!
The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you (Romans 8 : 11).
That means addiction can be broken.
Shame can be lifted.
Your story can be rewritten.
Call to Action
Stop believing the lie that you’re too far gone.
Jesus didn’t come to condemn you — He came to transform you.
God’s love changes everything.
And through Christ — you are justified!
Prayer:
as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

God’s Love Will Change You — I’m Justified!
1 Corinthians 6 : 9–11 reminds us that before Christ, we were lost — but now we are washed, sanctified, and justified.
It’s a powerful reminder that God’s love doesn’t just forgive — it transforms.
Paul lists sins that once enslaved us, but then he declares, “Such were some of you.” Past tense.
That is who you were — not who you are now in Christ Jesus.
When you surrender your life to Jesus, He washes you clean by His blood.
He sets you apart for His purpose.
And He declares you righteous in His sight.
That’s what it means to be justified — “just as if I’d never sinned.”
God’s love changes everything. No matter your past, His grace reaches further.
It’s time to walk in the power of your new identity — redeemed, restored, and righteous through Jesus Christ.
