KJV 2 Cor. 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

AMP 2 Cor.10:3 For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends, Well Wishers, and Saints of God As we revive and restore and rejuvenate in inner man I’d just like to say out the gate that No weapon formed against us shall be able to prosper.

The bible uses the term weapon.

The word Weapon in the Greek vernacular is the word Hoplon and it means an implement or utensil or tool (used literally or figuratively , especially for offensive warfare: Hoplon is your armour, your instrument, your weapon. ATCSA.

Further expanded research defines the word weapon as any instrument or instrumentality used in hunting or fighting; especially used in warfare.  Teach me pastor.

Brothers and sisters Weapons are things to be characterized by having or bearing arms.

Weapons are some things to be prepared for in a military confrontation by being provided with the proper tools necessary to arm an individual to be prepared for a military confrontation.

Spiritual Weapons are absolutely essential and totally necessary to fight the kind of battles we face in Spiritual Warfare.

The devil is busy. He never stops. He’s constantly plotting and scheming and cooking up evil on you. How you know that Pastor? Because the devil comes to steal kill and to destroy. And so we must make up our minds that we are going to be Soldiers in the Army of the Lord.. And to be a soldier in the Army of the Lord one must prepare oneself. You can’t just jump into the fight without knowing some tactical moves. And you learn that in Basic training.

The military trains each and every soldier the basic training technics to be able to engage in the Art Of War.

Every soldier has to be in shape, physically fit, mentally stable and emotionally in tact because folk lives depend on it.

Well it’s the same way in the Body of Christ. There are some basic training tools that the Body of Christ has to have.

#1. A Sound Mind. Repentance

# 2. A Pure Heart Regeneration

# 3. A Clean Lifestyle Conversion

#4. Righteous Behavior Sanctification

#5. Adjust and Stable because of the family I’ve been Adopted into Adoption.

The bible says in Ephesians 6:13-17 That we need the proper weapons, Because you can have all of the internal attributes but if you don’t put on the external skeleton that protects your internal parts you’ll be wiped out in nothing flat.

First of all the scripture says In Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Brothers and sisters listen to the word of God

11 Put on God’s whole armor.

Tell your neighbor: Put on The Whole Armor of God.

And the reason is that we’ve got to have on [the armor of a heavily-armed soldier that God supplies the equipment for],

Because with God’s armor we may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies, tricks, traps ,and the deceits of the devil. The devil has a PHD in the art and science of trickery.

Then verse 12 informs us that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [ we’re not just contending with physical opponents alone], but against the principalities or despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

Let me bring you up to speed Since spiritual warfare is fought spiritual and natural warfare is fought in the natural How do they intersect. The answer is with people… Those spirits has to have a body to operate in… And now days in 2025. They wear $2,000. suits and sit in the white house and congress and pass laws that hurt innocent Americans.

Now days they shut the Government down and are willing to cut off their own faces just to spike our wide noses.

Now days they don’t care about our John Lewis logo Getting into good trouble… because they’ll even try to deport you and you already an American citizen. Now days them wicked spirits in high places are cutting off poor people’s food to even further starve a starving demoted, down trodden demographic of people. We’ve got wickedness in high places. During COVID when you were driving around the parking lot and we were passing out communion to you’ll from the front door of the church, I said I wish we could just run away from all of this. And one of my deacons said and go where Rev? it’s all over the world there is no escape.. That was true then and that’s true right now.

We can’t escape so we have to deal with it.

And so we are going to need some weapons to fight this fight.. Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Oh yeah we got some weapons

#1. We’ve got the Belt of Truth.… Jesus said in John 14: I Am the way the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father but by Me.

Tell the Truth!! and the bible says that the Truth shall make you free. And remember that I told you that we needed external equipment to cover our internal parts. Well when you wrap the belt of truth around you it’s a sigh that you’ve been to a place of recognin which is Repentance . And repentance is a a change of mind. When you got the truth wrapped around you, you can’t lie no mo. Then

# 2. The word says having on the Breastplate of Righteousness.. And that means that You’ve been Regenerated Because You’ve had a Change of heart.. That’s why David said Lord Thy Word have I hid in ,my heart that I might not sin against thee.

Tell your neighbor that you’ve got to protect your heart.. Po David had messed up so bad with that pretty girl Bathsheba until he had to come correct with God and Say Lord Create in me a clean heart oh Gid renew the right spirit with in me. ATCSA. Then the words of power says in Ephesians that we’ve got to shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;. That means you can’t let no joker make you defeat your purpose in life… I ain’t falling out with nobody… I told you that about 5 years ago the Lord came to me and told me When I come through that church if you cutting up, carrying on, and acting like a fool with any one of them folk I’m getting everybody that acting up Preacher and all… I never forgot that some as you see I’m at peace with you even if it’s somethings that I don’t like. The bible says in Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Here’s another reason because out theme scripture in 2 Cor.10: 4 says For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

In other words Don’t forget what you fighting against… The enemy is supposed to be out there in the world not here in the church. ATCSA. Then the Ephesians 6 text says 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

When I was a younger Christian I would preach this but I didn’t quite understand it like I do now. Listen to me real good, There are going to be some awful stuff that come you way to unravel you.… and it’s bad enough to do it!!! Oh yeah 3x But I Trust God My Savior the One who will never fail… I HOLD UP MY SHIELD OF FAITH BECAUSE I SEE THE ENEMY SHOUTING THE FIREY DARTS FROM EVERY DIRECTION AND I NEED THE LORD ON MY SIDE. Because if is had not been for the Lord on my side I know I wouldn’t have made. Somebody ought say Me neither Rev. I have to have Faith in God.. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. I can’t see it but I know that the Lord will make a way somehow. ATCSA. Then the Christian Soldier has to put on the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: T

That means that when you have the helmet of Salvation on God covers you mind.. And the word of God says to Put your mind on Jwesus and He’ll give you perfect peace… Sometimes I get to worrying about this that and the third and the Lord says STOP IT>>> STOP IT RIGHT NOW. Because the bible says take no thought for your life Because your life is in the hands of the Good Lord.. That’s why the word of God say Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.. What things ? I’m glad you ask Things Like my FOOD MY FAITH MY FINANCES MY FITNESS AND MY FURTURE. And if the Lord feeds the little bitty sparow then I know He’ll look after me too because never have I seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread.

Then the word teaches, talks, and tells us above all of the pieces of the uniform, The Most valuable weapon to acquire is the Sword of the Spirit, Which is the Word of God. The Word of God is your MOST POWERFUL ASSET.. I know some people think that Prayer is the most powerful asset but it’s not. And I know some people think that praise is the most powerful asset but it’s not… Although we know that prayer changes things prayer changes conditions and prayer changes the circumstances in our lives that’s so true.… And we also know that when praises go up blessings come down.. we know that God inhabits the praises of His people . We know that Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord [praise ye the Lord. Prayer and Praise has there place in all of this. But the Word of God is Supreme to every liturgical order, every orthodoxy of policy polity and politics in the church. And I’ll prove it with our Baptist Doctrine .. We believe that the bible says written by men divinely inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction It has God for it’s author salvation for its end and truth without any mixture of error and it reveals the principle by which God shall judge us and the Supreme standards by which all human conduct creed and opinions shall be tired.…

The Word of God is our greatest weapon. God is not a man that He should lie,, If Good said it!!!! I believe it and that settle it to me.

Let me run you through a few things where God’s word has mattered so much.

God told Noah in His word to build an Ark and Noah saved His family from the flood.

God told Abraham to leave his daddy’s house and go to a land that flows with milk and honey and the Nation of Israel is still a strong nation today

God told Moses in His word to use the rod that’s in your hand Moses and stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. And Moses marched the Children of Israel across the Red Sea on dry land.

God told Joshua in His word to march around the walls of Jericho 7 times and the walls of Jericho came tumbling down.

God told David in His word to pick up 5 smooth stone and take one of them and Shoot Goliath smack dab in the middle of his forehead and David killed Goliath with a rock and sling shot.

God’s word has always been the greatest weapon that mankind could ever use.

Because the 2 Cor. 10:4 says (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

If you want things to change in your life you’ve got to use the weapons that are mighty through God to pull down them strongholds

that’ messing stuff up in your family,

that’s messing stuff up in your home

that’s messing stuff up with your health,

that’s messing stuff up with your wealth that messing stuff up with our community

that’s messing stuff up in our churches,

that’s messing stuff up in our city , in our state, in our nations and in our world.

Because the devil is real and just remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

And I’ve got to close here now but tah the Christian Soldier The bible says in 2 Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Oh Lordy And there was a story about a soldier name John who was black born in slavery time Please Sir to have mercy

John said I’m going to join the Union Army to help them win the war Um UM UM. Somewhere along the way John was shot down and wounded yes.

And another soldier went and held John in his army while he was dying um um um and I heard John saying

If my relatives should ask you how I died,

If my wife and children should ask you how I died,

If my friends should ask you how I died.

If my church should ask you how I died

Tell them,,, I died on the Battle field for the Lord.

And I promised Him that I would serve Him 3x Until I die. Ain’t He Alright 3x
