Welcome back to Day 13 of our journey through Romans 9–11.
Today we uncover a powerful and hope-filled truth:
Israel’s rejection is not final.
And in that truth, we also see God is never finished with His people — including you.

SCRIPTURE FOUNDATION
SCRIPTURE FOUNDATION
📖 Romans 11:1 (NKJV)
“I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not!”
Another translation says:
“Absolutely not!”
“By no means!”
“God forbid!”
Paul isn’t whispering. He’s thundering truth:
God does not abandon His covenant people.

✅
THE TEMPORARY REJECTION
THE TEMPORARY REJECTION
Israel stumbled — but they were not erased.
They rejected Jesus as Messiah — but God did not reject them forever.
📖 Romans 11:11
“Did they stumble that they might fall? Certainly not!”
Their stumbling was temporary, not permanent.
Their blindness was partial, not total.
God’s covenant is everlasting, not disposable.
✅
✅
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Because if God abandoned Israel…
How could you trust Him to never leave you?
But He didn’t.
And He never will.
📖 Jeremiah 31:35-36
“If these ordinances depart from Me… then the seed of Israel shall also cease…”
If the sun still rises and the ocean still moves —
God is still faithful to Israel.
And He will be faithful to you.

A WARNING TO THE CHURCH
A WARNING TO THE CHURCH
Paul reminds the Gentiles:
📖 Romans 11:18
“Do not boast against the branches.”
Meaning — don’t think you replaced Israel.
Don’t despise the Jewish people.
Don’t forget the roots of your faith.
God didn’t throw Israel away — He won’t throw you away.

A MESSAGE FOR YOUR HEART
A MESSAGE FOR YOUR HEART
Have you stumbled?
Have you failed?
Have you walked away?
Do you feel forgotten?
God didn’t quit on Israel —
and He’s not quitting on you.
📖 Philippians 1:6
“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.”
God finishes what He starts.
His promises don’t expire.
His covenant doesn’t break.

Romans 11:1 —
“Has God cast away His people? Certainly not!”
Israel stumbled — but God did not abandon them.
Their rejection wasn’t final — and neither is yours.
God finishes what He starts.
If the sun still rises, God’s covenant still stands.
He keeps His promise to Israel — and He will keep His promise to you.
He’s not finished with Israel.
He’s not finished with His Church.
And He’s not finished with YOU.

Day 13 — Israel’s Rejection Is Not Final
Romans 11 opens with a powerful question:
“Has God cast away His people?”
Paul answers with bold certainty:
Certainly not!
Israel stumbled, but they are not forgotten.
They turned away, but God has not turned from them.
His covenant stands, His mercy remains, His plan continues.
This matters deeply — because the God who kept His covenant with Israel keeps His covenant with YOU.
If God remained faithful to Israel despite their stumbling,
He will remain faithful to you despite yours.
Let this truth anchor your soul today:
God finishes what He starts.
