11/2 Authority

Share my dream.

I struggle a little bit teaching on this because I myself am just learning about this authority and how to walk in it and I don’t like to teach on anything that I haven’t experienced or walked through but I feel a grace on this because its a journey the Lord has me on and I believe He needs the last days church to take back what a lot Christians for so long have given away.

Talk about my own journey and lack of knowledge and teaching about this subject in the church.

Genesis 1:26-28

He gets into the fall and how that was man giving up that authority to Satan and when Jesus came he gave it back to us. we’ll go to that in a bit in the new testament where Jesus clearly gave it back to us. Also the sovereignty of God, you know how can God be sovereign and just and loving if he lets all this bad stuff happen. The age old argument of non believers right. Well He’s given us authority over this earth, we gave it to Satan, Jesus gave it back to us, now we get to choose, do we use it to fulfill the purpose of God and bring heaven to earth or do we give it back to Satan to destroy the earth?

So I think the Bible is pretty clear on this and it’s not arrogance to believe the Bible.

Isaiah 14:12-17

When I grasped this, when I got the revelation of what he is saying here it kinda blew my mind. one day we will see Satan for who he truly is and I think we will be ashamed, I think we’ll be embarrassed.

Proverbs 18:21

We are not God but we are given authority to let his power work through us. Power and authority are not the same thing. We are given authority but only by the power of the name of Jesus Christ. Andrew gets into that as well on his podcast. Example Acts 3
