4  For the word of the Lord is right;
And all his works are done in truth.
5  He loveth righteousness and judgment:
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
6  By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. (Psalm 33:4–6
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  (Genesis 1:3, KJV 1900)
when god speaks things happens
When God speaks, He rarely gives all the details. His word demands faith, not full understanding. Obedience often precedes explanation.
23 And the Lord said unto Moses, Is the Lord’s hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. 24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the Lord, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle. 25 And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease (Numbers 11:23–25, KJV 1900)
Genesis 12:1–4

12 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred,(family) and from thy father’s house, unto a land that

God didn’t give Abram a map — just a word.
Abram obeyed with partial information but total trust.
abram didnt need the whole story on where and how he just needed a word
A word from the Lord is often a command to move, not a contract to understand.
God’s word is a summons into becoming—it reveals enough to move, not enough to remove faith.
If you demand total clarity before obedience, you’ll never know the land “I will show.”
how Many of us stall because they want “risk-free confirmation.” Abraham shows: obedience often precedes assurance.
Prov 3:5–6: “Trust in the LORD… do not lean on your binah (understanding).” Trust and analysis aren’t enemies, but analysis must kneel.

5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;

And lean not unto thine own understanding.

6  In all thy ways acknowledge him,

And he shall direct thy paths.

Ezekiel 37:1-3— “Son of man, can these bones live?”

37 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, 2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open cvalley; and, lo, they were very dry. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Ezekiel didn’t know — “O Lord God, thou knowest.” Sometimes the Word from the Lord comes in the middle of confusion, not clarity.
You don’t have to see life to speak life. When God says speak, speak — even when bones still look dry
Luke 17:12-14 — “As they went, they were cleansed.”

12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

The lepers were healed in motion.
God’s Word unfolds as you move in obedience.
The Word Reveals as You Walk
Psalm 119:105-108

105  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path.

106  I have sworn, and I will perform it, That I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107  I am afflicted very much Quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

108  Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD,

And teach me thy judgments.

Word is a lamp to feet, not a stadium floodlight. God illumines steps, not miles.
Revelation is progressive. You won’t see the next step until you take the first one.
Stop waiting for the full picture — start walking in the partial promise.
God’s Word Doesn’t Need Our Answers — It Requires Our Amen
A Word from the Lord isn’t meant to satisfy your curiosity — it’s meant to strengthen you
Faith says, “Lord, I don’t know how… but I know You.”
waiting for the answer is like this
Matthew 23:25–26 (KJV)
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
The outside = external behavior, reputation, rituals
The inside = heart, motives, purity, and relationship with God
Jesus’ message: true holiness begins inside — when the heart is right, the outside will naturally follow.
acts 27:23-26

23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. 26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

Paul was a prisoner under Roman authority, yet he traveled with remarkable favor and authority — giving prophetic warnings, encouraging the crew during the storm, and even directing survival efforts. Though bound physically, Paul was spiritually free and operated with divine authority throughout the chapter.
Paul: “An angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship said…”
They still face shipwreck, yet the word governs the outcome.
the Word guarantees God’s ends, not our preferred means.
Heb 11:1-8: Faith is not pretending; it’s participating in a reality God has uttered.

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, qthat he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, wmoved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. 15 And

Joshua 1:5

5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Spoken before Joshua’s unknown journey — divine reassurance before direction.
God gives presence before answers. The “word” doesn’t explain how, but guarantees Who will go with you.
When God gives a word, He may not give all the answers — but He always gives His presence. His Word may stretch your understanding, but it will never leave you alone.
Matthew 28:20

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

“Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
Christ’s presence is continuous — in each day, not just the sum of days.
Hebrews 13:5

5 Your lifestyle must be free from the love of money, being content with what you have. For he himself has said, “I will never desert you, and I will never abandon you.” 6 So then, we can say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.

What will man do to me?”

“For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
in closing
listen
David said, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)
That means — from youth to gray hair, from the mountain to the valley, from the promise to the prison, from the waiting to the winning — God has never failed His people.
The women with the issue of blood only had a word
David only had a word when face the giant that he was going to be king not that he was going to win the fight but he had a word he was going to be king he didn’t know how to but he had a word
When Peter stepped out the boat he stepped out on a word
paul only had a word but he remain in faith
Abraham didn’t know where or how Ezekiel didn’t know if those bones could ever live again. The lepers didn’t know when.
But they all had a word. And the word was enough.
Some of you have been asking God why.
but tonight i feel the lord say “I have not forsaken you. My word still stands. My promise still breathes.” You don’t need all the answers to walk in obedience. You don’t need the whole plan to take the next step. You just need to remember what He said: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” (Hebrews 13:5)God’s silence is not His absence. His delay is not His denial. His mystery is not His abandonment.
If you’re standing in a season where you have a word, but dont know answersto how or where… If you’ve been trying to figure out how when God just told you go… If you’ve been wrestling with uncertainty, wondering if He still remembers you — tonight, God is saying: “Step out on My word again.”
Come to this altar — bring the word He gave you, even if it feels buried. Bring your Abraham obedience, your Mary confusion, your Ezekiel valley. Lay it before Him.
As you come, you’re saying, “Lord, I don’t understand, but I still trust. I don’t see it, but I still speak it. I don’t have the answers, but I still have Your word.”
