“He is not here, for He is Risen”
God morning! Thank you Lord for this day, thank you for sharing your time with us. We ask that we may be filled with You and the Holy Spirit in Love as we learn more and grow in Your Word, and in You. Take from us anything that may hinder our growth, anything that is not of You, may we have less of us more of You.
May we see one another as brothers, and sisters, as Your children, in One Body, and One Church...Your Church, as we walk under your protection, from anything not of You, or Your will.
Thank you, in Yahshuas Holy Name...so be it.
Mat 28.
Wow, so for 3.5 years Yahushua was preparing the disciples for this very moment. time and time again He spoke of His suffering, being handed over, rejected, ...etc. He is now, as they know, dead. They are lost, hurt, in pain for the moment. Emotions of Love for their Rabbi, their teacher, their brother and friend are hitting hard. He is gone.
The Marys go to the tomb, an Angel is there, he says “He is not here!” Glorious words for those who Love Yahushua Our Lord...but they must run and tell the others. On the way, He appears to them and they immediately know Him and worship Him. He reassures them, not to fear and get the guys...it is time!
They run and tell...imagine the joy, elation, disbelief as they assure one another, as they are all reminded of His sayings...
Luke 9:22 “22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.” and Mark 8:31 “31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.”
John 3:14 “14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:” (IMPORTANT)
Even in the old testament He is mentioned time and time again in Psalm 22:1 “1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?” Most famously Isai 53
1 Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, And as a root out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; And when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; A man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: And we hid as it were our faces from him; He was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, And carried our sorrows: Yet we did esteem him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon him; And with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned every one to his own way; And the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, Yet he opened not his mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, So he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: And who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: For the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, And with the rich in his death; Because he had done no violence, Neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: When thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, He shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; For he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, And he shall divide the spoil with the strong; Because he hath poured out his soul unto death: And he was numbered with the transgressors; And he bare the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.
even Daniel 9:26 “26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;
His goal, His entire Ministry was this culmination, He taught, He loved, He forgave, He cured, He led the Way, in fact back then those who followed Him were called a couple things, the sect of the Nazarenes, and the Way.
Acts 24:5 “5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:”
Acts 24:14 “14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:” Showing all who He is for this moment...this final moment before He leaves...and of course the final instructions.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Now, the flip side to this is the four other dreadful words...for He is risen!
wow, evil is in serious trouble...evil has no clue what they’ve just done...they helped fulfill prophecy, and their demise. In their attempt to rid The Lord God of this world, they just defeated themselves. They brought the HOLY SACRIFICE to the Alter, and slaughtered Him. defeat is hard to accept for the prideful one, and to this day he is angry, for it was and is written... THE GODHEAD WON!
John 1:36 “36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!”
Acts 8:32 “32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:”
Isaiah 53:7 “7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, Yet he opened not his mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, So he openeth not his mouth.”
John 3:16 “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Ephesians 5:2 “2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.”
Hebrews 10:12 “12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”
1 John 2:2 “2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
Titus 2:14 “14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
Romans 8:32 “32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
Jonah 2:9 “9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.”
Hebrews 9:14 “14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
He said this was the goal, He reminded them throughout His ministry, and here...IT WAS FULFILLED!
again, evil is running from the light, as we see in
Genesis 1:3–4 “3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”
John 1:5 “5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
We see the soldiers running from the light to the elders(darkness) who then make up lie. Where have we seen this before...hmmmmm?
But all Glory to The Godhead and Christ for His obedience to the will of The Father, He completed His mission for us! All the Way back to
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Finally, in Revelation we see Him in all Glory and how dreadfully He will return for those who oppose Him...the only one worthy to open the scroll.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Because of this, we are His and we are counted as sheep for the slaughter...so, shine your light, be that salt...come out from among them...
Matthew 5:16 “16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:13 “13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”
2 Corinthians 6:17 “17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”
Revelation 18:4 “4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, That ye be not partakers of her sins, And that ye receive not of her plagues.”
His instructions are everywhere...
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
As Christ said on the cross...John 19:30 “30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
Jesus's final words on the cross, meaning "It is finished," are recorded in the original Greek as "Τετέλεσται" (Tetelestai). Means the debt is PAID IN FULL! We must follow Him, His teachings, and His example.
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
PRAISE AND FEAR THE LORD YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH...GLORIOUS AND DREADFUL! SO BE IT!
