It is His steadfastness, His trustworthiness, His truthfulness. It is often linked with both His mercy and His truth.

His Faithfulness Declared

Exodus 34:5-8 The glory of the Lord revealed.
Psalm 40:11–12 NASB95
11 You, O Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me. 12 For evils beyond number have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see; They are more numerous than the hairs of my head, And my heart has failed me.
Psalm 86:11-15
Jesus is called the Faithful Witness and the Faithful and True One
Revelation 1:5 NASB95
5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—

His Faithfulness In Action

He is faithful to lead us when we seek Him (Abraham’s servant)
Genesis 24:27 NASB95
27 He said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His lovingkindness and His truth toward my master; as for me, the Lord has guided me in the way to the house of my master’s brothers.”
He was faithful to His covenant promise to Jacob.
Genesis 32:10 NASB95
10 I am unworthy of all the lovingkindness and of all the faithfulness which You have shown to Your servant; for with my staff only I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two companies.
He keeps His promise - Solomon spoke of God’s covenant keeping faithfulness towards his father David!

His Faithfulness Towards Us

He called us to faith in Him.
1 Corinthians 1:9 NASB95
9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
God is faithful to forgive us when we repent.
1 John 1:9 NKJV
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
God is faithful to complete the work that He has begun in us.
1 Thessalonians 5:23–25 NKJV
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us.
God preserves us in His faithfulness.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 NASB95
3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
1 Corinthians 10:13 NASB95
13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

He Calls Us to Faithfulness

In the Old Testament:

14 “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord!
The admonition to Israel:
1 Samuel 12:24 NASB95
24 “Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
Revelation 2:10 NASB95
10 ‘Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
We are compared to a faithful servant.
