Jesus gave his life for us. Mary walked closely with him, and knew what he was going to do. She also knew what she was called to do. Even if others didn't understand her, she was humble obedient to the leading of the Spirit. Let us walk closely with Jesus too, that we may hear and obey when he calls us to act for him. Most of all, let us remember what he did for us in giving his life on the cross, so that we could be forgiven and accepted by the Father.
