Making More Of Jesus

John 3:22-36

I. Don’t Compete — Celebrate (vv. 25-29)

A. When others are being used by God, don’t get jealous — rejoice!

B. Celebrate what God is doing through others.

C. It’s all one Kingdom, one Gospel, one Savior.

II. Don’t Compare — Be Content (v. 27)

A. God gives each of us our place and purpose.

B. God’s sovereignty means He assigns every believer a role in His mission.

C. Be faithful where God put you.

III. Don’t Promote Self — Exalt The Savior (vv. 30-36)

A. The goal of every believer is to lift Jesus higher.

B. Christ is supreme and deserves all glory.

C. Make much of Jesus.

John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
