Cynical about church? Coming for an experience? Coming for an amazing show? Feeling like you don’t belong? Like it’s more fake than real?
Israel vs Christ
We are becoming a people. A people on the way to the Promised Land.
See one another: We are brought together equally through the Spirit to build one another’s faith in God.

Get saved. Grow in church. Service becomes a game whereby you feel more and more like it’s all human personality or certain set of skills and not God at work.
Focused on experience rather than God.
But he doesn’t go mystical.
Focuses on revelation and understanding in order to encourage obedience.
Moses gives the whole Pentateuch to form them into a people. We have all that God has done in Christ to know God loves us and the Spirit has changed us.
Honor one another: We have different but equally needing-care roles.

Get saved. Grow in church. Service becomes a game whereby you feel more and more like no one cares for you personally. You start to fix that by noticing others and noticing where they need care in trusting God.
