Pr 4. Tony van Drimmelen. We have seen that wisdom is a path. Our journey on that path is left, right, one foot after the other. Proverbs says, the reason for getting on the path of wisdom is the guarded heart. The heart is the source. As we walk along the path, it changes us, transforms us and leads us to ever increasing depths of wisdom. Consistently and reliably the path leads us to know more of Jesus who is “the way, the truth and the life” (Jn 14:6). When Jesus said those words he had in mind the final destination of our path – heaven. If we have the hope of heaven, the path of wisdom flows like a spring from our hearts impacting our lives and everyone around us.
