Romans 8:19–21 NLT
For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.

Introduction

Placide Cappeau
Out of someone who most one of the most unlikely people came one of the most beloved Christmas songs of all tim.e
It is just like God to use something so unassuming to tell the greatest story on earth.
Lets look at this song and see how the Christmas story is a story of salvation.

Salvation was initiated at the birth of Jesus

The story of Jesus’ birth has to be the most powerful story every told. It can seem so hard to believe that the Savior of the world would be born in the way He was. From Joseph and Mary making the long journey to finding out that there was no where for them to stay, to the birth in a barn and the announcement to the angels, the story is one that may seem fantastical.

Salvation was purchased at the crucifixion of Jesus

Salvation was guaranteed at the resurrection of Jesus

Salvation will be fulfilled at the return of Jesus
