3. Praise – The Lord inhabits the praises of His people.
Think about this, what do you see happening if you start praising God, He comes to inhabit your praises and your enemy is coming against you? Do you think God is going to allow them to touch you? Who can stand against the Lord God of Host?
Let me show you what David said about praise, turn to Ps 34 and we’re going to look at verses 1 – 8. Ps 34:1 I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. 2 My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. [Are you afflicted? Then hear and rejoice] 3. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. [Are you seeking Him? Then trust that He will answer and deliver] 5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. [You’re changed, you look different you glow, like when you’re in love. Do you love the Lord? Then you should be radiant with the love of God.] 6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. [When is the last time you called on God to save you out of all your troubles? Not some but all.] 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Who wants to be blessed, then take your refuge in God, remember that old saying try it, you’ll like it, well I’m telling you try God, you’ll love Him.
