The Savior Who Satisfies

John 4:1-26

I. Jesus pursues the unlikely (vv. 1-9)

A. He purposefully goes through Samaria.

B. He initiates the conversation with her.

II. Jesus offers what the world cannot give (vv. 10-15)

A. He offers “living water.”

B. She misunderstands Him.

C. His gift brings lasting satisfaction.

III. Jesus reveals the truth that transforms (vv. 16-26)

A. Jesus exposes the root of her sin with grace.

B. Jesus redirects her to true worship.

C. Jesus reveals Himself as the Messiah.

He knows your sin yet still offers living water.

He knows your past yet still invites you to worship.

He knows your shame yet still calls you to Himself.
