Opening Scripture:

Psalm 37:23–24 NIV
The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
Psalm 37 is not a mourning or praise psalm—it's wisdom literature, similar to Proverbs.
David is teaching how the righteous should live in a world where evil seems to prosper.
The word “makes firm” (Koon | Hebrew) means:
- To Establish
- To Make Solid
- To Stablize
- To Secure
Even believers will struggle, we will “Stumble” BUT we don’t have to fall
The more we become foundational upon God the harder it is for us to Fall.
Don’t confuse your trip for a Fall… Because you stumble doesn’t mean that you have fallen.

Stepping Out In Obedience…

Isaiah 40:29–31 NIV
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Tiredness is both a natural part of life and our walk with God.
God promises us that even when we feel that we can no longer carry on — He will provide us with His Strength.
When we place our hope solely in God and not possessions or people we become more in tuned with God’s will for our lives and in general.
Whatever you are in tuned to is what you are in obedience to.
When we go in the direction the Lord has lead us to go in we will have all that we need — He Himself will sustain us.
What or who’s ways are you committed to?

Standing On Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV
For we live by faith, not by sight.
As followers of Christ, Children of God we are called to live by Faith — not by the things in which we see…
Scripture defines faith as “ confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
God doesn’t always give us the full picture of what He is calling us to do — BUT He will always give us the right piece to the puzzle at the right time.
God doesn’t always give us the full picture because He simply wants us to just trust in Him.
Often times we hinder ourselves from fulfilling the will of God because we base it off of things that we see and feel.
Standing on Faith is simply fully surrendering everything to God and Trusting in His plan and nothing else.

Moving Forward In Grace

Philippians 3:13–14 NIV
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
When we feel that we are stuck in our struggle we MUST always remember that God has given us GRACE to MOVE Forward through Jesus!
Moving forward means you have to come out of your comfort zone
Moving forward isn’t always easy but when you add God’s grace to it, it makes it so much better and worth it!
As you move forward to resist the temptation to relive your mistakes
What ways do you need to move forward in your walk with God?
Do you need to come to Church more often — connecting yourself to a godly community through fellowship where you can be uplifted, edified, and spiritually filled.
Do you need to get in a IMPACT Group? Joining yourself to a community of believers that you can pray with, fellowship with, study/discuss God’s word with — walking this walk with someone and not alone.
Do you need to Serve? Surrendering a portion of time to the Lord to serve Him by serving others through His Church becoming the hands and feed of Jesus as we are called to be as followers of Christ.
Do you need to be baptized? Taking a step to publically declare your faith and acceptance of Jesus — sharing in His death and resurrection.
Do you need to give your life/heart to Jesus? Making the decision to turn away from a life of Sin and giving God through Jesus your whole heart simply by receiving His completed works on the cross and through the resurrection.
