I. Introduction A. Opening Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always,
17 pray without ceasing,
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
II. Rejoicing Always
A. Understanding the source of true joy
1. Joy in salvation (Philippians 4:4)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
2. Joy in the presence of God (Psalm 16:11)
11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
