Choices Matter...

Gratitude is a Decision, not a Reaction

“I will praise… I will magnify...”

Psalm 69:30 ESV
30 I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Gratitude begins with a CHOICE

David chooses to praise God in the middle of distress, he could have complained but he chose to give thanks

What are you choosing? COMPLAINT -or- GRATITUDE

Gratitude Expresses Praise to God

Psalm 69:30 ESV
30 I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Gratitude is vocal and public

Gratitude shifts our focus to God’s character

A thankful heart is a PRAISING heart

Gratitude Magnifies God above our Circumstances

Gratitude enlarges your view of God

Gratitude shrinks the power of your struggles

Complaining Magnifies problems, thanksgiving magnifies God
