God’s Timing is Perfect

He doesn’t need Hindsight

· Welcome, ladies. May the blessings of God shine on you today as we consider the wonder of God’s perfect plan! No matter what things look like, God is not surprised. Have you ever considered our lives from the birds-eye view?  As our omniscient God looking down and seeing all, knowing all, and guiding all?

Let’s take a moment to read from 1 Corinthians 13, “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, as I am fully known.” (1 Co 13:12, HCSV)[1].

Since the beginning of creation, we have made attempts to know and be just like God. It started with Adam in the garden. The Lord specifically told them (my paraphrase), ‘Look around you Adam and Eve, I have made all of these good things. Look at how pleasant they are! They are filled with good food for you. But I want you to be careful, because that beautiful tree in the middle of the garden, that is my special tree, I have set that aside for myself, and it is too much for you. If you eat it, you will die. I do not want you to die, so I have provided all that you will need. I am leaving you in charge of it’s care, Adam. Make sure it grow and is pruned and is taken care of so that it will be fruitful and multiply. Without proper care, we know these things die.

o It’s important to recognize that Our finite minds cannot and will not fully understand who God is and His love until we meet Him face to face. But faith and Trust in God, with a capital “T” is what grows our hope.
