3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the humble,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.

Pure: terminology of ritual purity and cleanness, you can not be dirty and clean at the same time.
Pure: You must have singleness of heart.
24 “No one can serve two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
You can not have a un pure heart and see GOD.
heart: this was an inward not a outward cleaning.
For an example in Matthew chapter 15 Jesus talks about what comes out of a man is the problem.
11 It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth—this defiles a person.”
It is not the food we eat it is our action that defiles, action that comes for an un pure heart.
There are many passages that talk about a single pure heart or a single mind not being double minded.
4 You adulterous people! Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? So whoever wants to be the friend of the world becomes the enemy of God.
Why do he say “You adulterous people”
We are the Bride of Christ we can’t seek off with the world and have a right relationship with Christ.
How do we find ourself a friend of the world and enemies of God?
It is when we ignore Gods word and go along with what the world say is right or wrong.
That is a baby not a lump of cells
Marriage is between one man and one women.
God doesn’t make mistake you exactly the gender GOD made you to be.
There is only one GOD and He name is Jesus.
There is only one way for salvation that is Jesus.
How do we over come the draw to agree with the world.
James tell us that too.
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
We must purify our hearts by drawing near to GOD.
9 The heart is more deceitful than anything else,
and incurable—who can understand it?
10 I, the Lord, examine the mind,
I test the heart
to give to each according to his way,
according to what his actions deserve.
“The heart is more deceitful than anything else”
You can fallow you heart you have to lead your heart.
20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of people’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders, 22 adulteries, greed, evil actions, deceit, self-indulgence, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a person.”
We need a pure heart!!!
Why do you think Judas was able to betray Jesus he followed his heart not Jesus.
26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool:
But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
Trust the LORD not the heart.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
We need a purifed heart because that what GOD looks at.
5 So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.
So what do we do?
19 I will give them integrity of heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh,
Jesus can give you a new heart, a heart of flesh not of stone.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!
Is this talking about the outward of the inward?
Jesus can give you a pure heart.
