Distraction Thoughts

good things have distracted you from the best thing

life will distract you from the word of God

Your distraction of life causes you to read your bible and pray less and less and People use “show yourself grace” to avoid:

repentance

responsibility

growth

conviction

the Gospel will become ever so true to you the moment that you don’t get distracted from Him

distraction will cause you to lose gratitude

you are distracted by desiring good and godly things that you neglect God Himself

Schoolwork is good. A job is good. College is good. Marriage is good. But the moment any of those become ultimate, they become idols. Because anything you depend on more than God… you will eventually replace God with.

We can all confidently say that relationship with God is the most important thing in our lives, but I want to know who or what you run to when life didn’t go the way you expected

the thing that distracts you the most, is the thing that is in your back pocket

Distraction = Anything that diverts the mind or heart from God’s voice, God’s will, or God’s presence.

Satan doesn’t have to destroy you if he can distract you

Distraction doesn’t often make you stop following God entirely, it just makes you follow him half heartedly

I believe a lot of our identity issues come from lack of time with God

Fix My Focus

All distractions are different but they all have the same answer

Your not focused on him and more focused on answers

Distractions make you human, some of your distractions are not bad they are just not Jesus

Distractions need to die

an altar is a place where things die

some of us are distracted by what we already decided

your distraction is your decision

The first step of deliverance is acceptance

Deliverance comes with your decision

the power of decision comes with a process of decision

You can be called and distracted

the reason why God puts boundaries around things is because He wants you to set apart

but you want to be fleshly happy and holy
