Hope for the Humble

The Lord reveals himself to those who are childlike and humble.
Matthew 18:3–4 “and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
See 1 Corinthians 1:26-31...
James 4:6 “But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”” (See Matthew 5:3-6)
The only way we can know the Father is if Jesus reveals Himself to us.
John 3:35 “The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.” (see Matthew 28:18)
John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.”
See John 17:1-3...

Come to Christ for Rest

Christ offers rest to anyone who comes to Him.
We are burdened and heavy laden with sin, guilt, and shame, trying to earn God’s favor, worry, anxiety, and the daily burdens of life.
See Isaiah 55:1-3...
John 6:35 “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
Isaiah 11:10 “In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples—of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious.”
Christ’s yoke is easy and His burden is light.
1 Peter 5:6–7 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”
1 John 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.”
See Isaiah 40:28-31...
