1. Obedience is a necessary part of the Christian life. It could be said obedience to God or a willingness to obey His commands and voice are necessary to be a Christian in the 21st century. What are the obstacles to obedience, and how can we overcome them?

2. Sometimes God answers prayers in ways we don’t anticipate. This ultimately tests our character. Have you ever experienced a time when God answered a prayer in a difficult way or the answer was difficult? How did you handle it?

3. Often, we are faced with difficult relationships throughout our life. By becoming Christlike, we mature in how we deal with said relationships. How does Christian character change the way we treat difficult people? What does forgiveness look like when it’s paired with healthy boundaries?

4. How should Christians handle moral failure—both personally and when leaders fall? What does accountability look like in practice, and how can it be done in a way that restores rather than shames?

5. Today’s society demands that we wear multiple hats, which often requires multiple ways of interacting with people. How do you maintain consistency in character at home, work, and church? Which aspect of Christian character is hardest to live out today, and why?
