Big Idea: God will not leave us free of problems. But he does want us free from worry. When we make God our focus quality of both our spirit and life will follow.
Matthew 6:25–33 NKJV
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Introduction:

People have anxiety about the holidays and gifts and the credit cards that follow. some are worrying if they will have gifts under the tree.
Jesus has been talkiing to us about a singular focus. A focus that would put us in line with Kingdom principles and draw us closer to Him.
Anxiety and worry attack that focus. There are many things in the world we can choose to worry about.
There are all sorts of things and uncertainties that can keep our minds occupied in an unhealthy meditation.
Unpaid medical bills
Unsure and unknown medical conditions
Unmet and often uncommunicated expectations that lead to strained marriages and relationships
One generation we call “the sandwich generation” is worried about how to deal with aging parents and maturing children. All the while possibly having to deal with their own issues
One generations is struggling with the price of housing and costs of living in a new and recovering economy.
Generations dealing with the the fear that AI many take their career causing them to have to start over midstream
Multiple generations are dealing with crushing weight of student loan debt, coupled with the inability to understand or manage finance.
Budgeting and planning
learning how credit and aprs work
learning about debt to income ratio and leveraging
4. Multiple generations dealing with the crushing weight of student loan debt, the inability to put a decent meal together while trying to climb out of the maze of poverty.
5. There are generations wondering if they have enough money to last them through retirement.
6. Let’s not forget those caught by the pressures of gradepoint averages and classwork loads trying to create a better life for themselves and break a cycle of poverty.
7. Right now there is a couple stressed because a baby is on the way and yet another stressed because they long for a child.
8. If you are a Christian in may parts fo the world like NIgeria , the worry is just to stay alive.
Whether I have called out your situation this morning or not, a truth is coming through to the forefront.
Everyone has something they can choose to worry about.
Many of these situations are beyond their control.
But there are some vital truths this morning that we need to hold onto.

I. God wants to provide for us

Matthew 6:25–30 NKJV

II. F.A.I.T.H.

We all know that fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. But now we must overcome fear with faith.
Today we look at FAITH from two vantage points
Fully Accepting in the Heart
When we receive Christ by faith we become a part of his kingdom. We are therefore subject to the rules and laws of the kingdom. You are now a citizen with full rights and privileges.
When your faith is in God, you are unwavered. You will pursue him with the assurance everything is going to be ok.
2. Forward All Issues to Heaven
When you put up an out of office e-mail it is designed to do one thing. It is designed to intercept a communication or a request that desired your attention and let then know that you will not be using your energy to address a situation at this time.
It does not mean that you do not have the ability it simply means that you do not have the capacity to do a thing. In other words, your energies are more profitable being spent in another area. This is not a shirking of responsibility but a shifting of responsibility. here is someone better
Philippians 4:6–7 NKJV
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
How much time have we focuses in our lives to worrying about a siutuation that either worked out or never happened at all? What could we have spent that time on? How could our lives have been improved by the investment of that time both spiritually and naturally.
1 Peter 5:6–7 NKJV
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Matthew 6:33 NKJV
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
