Don’t Bury Your Talent

Matthew 25:14–30

Thank you for having me. It is a privilege and an honour to be able to share the word with you today. Intro to me – who am I?

Many of you may know my parents. My father used to preach here prior to retiring. I love my parents – they set me up well. They taught me the things of God. They were busy planting the foundational truth of the word of God in my life as a child and even now.

But there is one thing they could never do for me – they cannot be responsible for my faith and my calling – they cannot acquire salvation on my behalf – only I am responsible for that. Only I can be accountable for what I do with what God has given me.

And that brings me to the title of my message today. If you are taking notes, and would like to put a title to my message, here it is: DON’T BURY YOUR TALENT.
