Rejoice Evermore

Leviticus 22:29 “And when (a time) ye (you) will (It Will happen) offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer it at your own will.”

Psalm 95:2 “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, And make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”

Psalm 100:4 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

Psalm 116:17 “I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.”

John 2:9 “When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,”

2 Corinthians 9:11 “Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.”

Revelation 7:12 “Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16 “Rejoice evermore.” Seems that Thanksgiving and Rejoicing are defining Characteristics. have them!

Introduction:

Thanksgiving living: As the power to quite the soul.

Thanksgiving: Is a choice God leaves for us to make, “...Offer at your own will.”

I. Thanksgiving Thoughts:

A. There is always something to be thankful for, even if it is, NOT BEING A TURKEY!

B. Thanksgiving: A great time to give your sacrifice of thanksgiving and to count some of your blessings by naming them one by one.

C. We may not have it all together but all together, we almost have it all.

D. One said “This is the only time were gluttony seems like a patriotic duty.

E. A man said: Thanksgiving is one of those time it is not good to be my pants.

II. Thanksgiving Wit:

A. Calmness: There is a real calmness to those who live in a grateful and thanksgiving life of real quite joy in their heart.

B. One saying: May your life be as full as your plate and may your heart over flow.

III. Thanksgiving Question?:

A. Do you come from a family were gravy is cancered a beverage?

B. Can you say “Amen?” Thankful For?

Shoes, hands, feet, arms, legs, ears, voice, noise, touch, health, love, beds, parents, children, grandchildren, job, FOOD, the sun, earth, oceans, clothes, transportations, eyes, Church, redemption, God’s Word, etc. Can you say Amen?

C. Remember: Thanks giving is a choice and God wants your sacrifice it be one of willingness.
