Do you know how to find the book of psalms in the bible? Open to the very middle of the book. Now do you see the big numbers? you want to find big number 107. Leave your Bibles open for now.
Have you ever been forgiven for something and not gotten the punishment that you deserved?
That's called mercy.
This is the main verse and main point of all we are going to do today. Try to remember the verse.
Psalm 107:1 “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever.”
Raise your hand if you’ve ever been sick. God has given us bodies that can sometimes heal themselves.
Psalm 147:7 “Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praise upon the harp unto our God:”
God cares for us and is not a liar.
Psalm 119:164 “Seven times a day do I praise thee Because of thy righteous judgments.”
We sing to him in church and we can do that at home also.
Psalm 95:2 “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, And make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”
Psalm 30:4 “Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.”
When we talk to him (prayer) we should make sure to be thankful.
Psalm 100:4 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
King David in the Bible wrote this book of the bible to tell of what amazing things that God did.
Psalm 26:7 “That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all thy wondrous works.”

Philippians 4:6 “Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Jesus is filled with joy as the Church is growing and says...
Luke 10:21 “In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.”
Jesus Praised God when he saw what was going on that was good.
