No prophecy direction for 400 years, yet Simon and Ana were waiting with expectation.
14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
Inspiration
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Revelation
If God is that precise about what He does, and when He does- How much more is He precise to the Promises He has made over you.
Application
Time=TRUST
1 How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?
3 Consider and hear me, O Lord my God; Enlighten my eyes, Lest I sleep the sleep of death;
4 Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him”; Lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
He hasn’t forgotten you
Stop listening to your soul, and listen to God’s Word
Stop worrying about what people are saying. Public opinion is rarely right.
You need a revelation of Who He is, and who you are. Vs. 5
Rebuild your trust.
Sing your way to victory.
