Introduction: Grace Literal figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart and it reflection in the life, including gratitude

I. Grace Was Came by Jesus Christ

A. Along with Truth

John 1:16–17 “16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

B. The Grace of God brought Salvation to All Men

Titus 2:10–12 “10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”

C. Grace Made Us Accepted in the Praise of Glory into the Beloved

Ephesians 1:5–7 “5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

D. Paul Labored by the Grace of God That Was With Him, Not in Vain

1 Corinthians 15:10 “10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

E. We Can Come Boldly to the Throne of Grace and Obtain Mercy and Help in the Time of Need

Hebrews 4:16 “16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

II. We Shouldn’t Sin

A. So Grace Can Abound

B. We Are to Be Dead to Sin

C. We Were Baptized into Jesus and His Death

Romans 6:1–3 “1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?”

D. Grace is a Gift by One Man, Jesus Christ and Abounded unto Many

Romans 5:15 “15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”

E. Grace Shouldn’t Be Used to Continue in Sins, Because Your Will Not Inherit the Kingdom of God

Galatians 5:20–21 “20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
