Main scripture: GW: 1 Thess 5:17 Never stop praying/ KJV 1: Thess 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

CR scripture: NKJV Luke 18:1 The He spoke a parable to them, that mean always ought to pray and no lose hear.

Ice breaker: Look at the world today, compared to 1yr ago, look at your life and loved ones, we have lost people, we have all aged, I would like to think that we have all grown more closer to Jesus. Here is a personal question I submit to each of you. Have you quiet time with God grown? Has your prayer life grown from the place it was last year this time?
Prayer is simple conversation with God. Just like talking to a friend, except you don’t have to worry about what you say going anywhere. What is between you and God stays between you and Him. When we are talking to God you don’t have to use BIG words, sometimes no words at all. Sometimes, we just must mone He already knows our heart. God hears our prayers no matter how simple or eloquent. In Mark and Luke, we know that Jesus prayed about everything. Which is what we ought to do, simply put as we walk through this world in this earthen vessel, as we “walkie, we should talkie.” We should walk with the Lord and talk to him about everything no matter how big or small.
Prayer Alignment: When we pray without ceasing it builds muscle memory it creates a long-term memory and that builds dependency on God. A person that prays and has a prayer life is prepared for spiritual warfare. Prayer promotes spiritual growth. Prayer aligns our desires with God’s will. Through true prayer our most hidden sins are brought to light. We ask God to search us and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, and see if there is any wickedness within me (PS 139:23-24).  God directs the penetrating rays of His light into the innermost recesses of our hearts and washes away our iniquities and cleanses our sins (PS 51:2).
Example: 1 Sam 1:10-16: Hannah, even though she was in bitterness of soul, poured out her soul to the Lord praying for a son (Samuel) (1 Samuel 1:11). She was earnest in her prayer, she vowed to give the boy (Samuel) back to God, if God would give her, her heart’s desire. As a result, her earnest and sincere prayer aligned with the will of God, because she gave birth to the prophet Samuel, who anointed King David, Jesus being the same lineage as David.
