Introduction
Power
Rejection
Resurrection
This statement makes clear allusions to the resurrected Jesus, but also, his “signs and wonders.”
Acts 2:22
Acts 3:21-24: This, along with Stephen, is the only direct quotation of Dt. 18:15.
There are important expectations pertinent for the connections between Moses and the Messiah.
Dt:18:15-22
Dt. 34:10-12
Moses demonstrated that God was with him through the signs and wonders according to Stephen.
He had a unique relationship with God.
He spoke with Him face to face.
He did signs and wonders.
He was rejected by Israel (this has to be part of the narrative).
