A. We have a God that’s wants to listen to us.

Making the transition from anxiousness to a place of trust.

We have an opportunity to release our anxieties and place the weight of our needs on the shoulders of the creator

God is so much better than an earthly father. He will not only answer prayer but He will bless us with his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a powerful person of the Trinity.

Acts 2:1–4 NKJV

1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Knock  a persistent faith. 

B. We have a God that wants to be found

Seek- Persistently being engaged in seeking God

Seek- This is an engaged pursuit of God. This is a committed seeking for God through his word through prayer,fasting and study.

we should be in an active pursuit of Christ

Jeremiah 29:11–13 NKJV

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Power Principle: Even in our darkest moments God is not hidden. He is very present waiting for us to look up.
