Have you ever considered why a person can sit down in front of a doctor get told the truth, “You have cancer” and that person doesn’t get angry, upset at the doctor because that person knows the doctor wants to help get them well again. Yet all across this world today we see Gospel Messengers like your Pastor give people the truth, even in love, and that person gets upset and mad at the Pastor for doing the same thing as your doctor, helping to identify why you are going through that “sickness” and here is how I want to help you get well.
But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
1459 egkataleipo (eng-kat-al-i'-po);
from 1722 and 2641; to leave behind in some place, i.e. (in a good sense) let remain over, or (in a bad sense) to desert:
KJV-- forsake, leave.
5453 phuo (foo'-o);FORSAKE EXTENDED
a primary verb; probably originally, to "puff" or blow, i.e. to swell up; but only used in the implied sense, to germinate or grow (sprout, produce), literally or figuratively:
KJV-- spring (up).
1997 episunagoge (ep-ee-soon-ag-o-gay');
from 1996; a complete collection; especially a Christian meeting (for worship):
KJV-- assembling (gathering) together.
1996 episunago (ep-ee-soon-ag'-o);
from 1909 and 4863; to collect upon the same place:
KJV-- gather (together).
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
I have thought about those who stay home to enjoy TV Church and it makes me question their reasoning. I often wonder if those same people “go out to eat a lot” because they don’t enjoy fixing food for themselves or their family because it is to much work. What makes them think they can fix what is needed for their spiritual lives and it will be easier then preparing a meal, which they already don’t enjoy or don’t have time for. I wouldn’t call staying home watching TV Church gathering in Jesus’ Name when you could be in attendance with a Church family.
Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
MIGHT WE SAY HERE CHURCH IS A PLACE OF PRAYER
NOT A HANDOUT CENTER
IF YOU DON’T PUT ANYTHING IN THE OFFERING PLATE AT LEAST DON’T TAKE ANYTHING OUT
Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.
It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father’s wife!
And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you.
For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.
Why are you coming to Church?
Why are you coming to Church?
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.
But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
“For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Geese
Have you ever wondered why the Canadian geese fly only in the V formation? For years specialists in aerodynamics wondered the same thing.
Two engineers calibrated in a wind tunnel what happens in such a V formation. Each goose, in flapping his wings, creates an upward lift for the goose that follows. When all the geese do their part in the V formation, the whole flock has a 71 percent greater flying range than if each bird flew alone. Each depends upon the other to get to its destination. – Something else-When a goose begins to lag behind, the others "honk" it back into place."Let us consider one another, to provoke unto love and to good works" (Heb_10:24)

Cautions against apostasy
Cautions against apostasy
Here the apostle sets forth the dignities of the gospel state. It is fit that believers should know the honours and privileges that Christ has procured for them, that, while they take the comfort, they may give him the glory of all.
The privileges are,
1. Boldness to enter into the holiest.
2. They have access to God
3. Light to direct them,
4. liberty of spirit and of speech to conform to the direction;
5. they have a right to the privilege and a readiness for it,
6. assistance to use and improve it and assurance of acceptance and advantage.
7. They may enter into the gracious presence of God in his holy oracles, ordinances, providences, and covenant, and so into communion with God, where they receive communications from him, till they are prepared to enter into his glorious presence in heaven.
