THE FAITHFUL GOD (PART 3)
Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
The faithfulness of God is stronger than the wickedness of the devil and his agents. The goodness of God overwhelms the badness of satan any day, any time.
You will enjoy both His faithfulness and His goodness in the remaining days in 2025 and beyond in Jesus' name. Amen.
God is faithful, which means He is reliable, trustworthy. Always keep His word and promises, remaining true to His unchanging character even when people are not.
WAYS TO HONOUR GOD
1. Honour God with your time:
Time is equally distributed to all. Both the rich and the poor, the old and the young, but we don't use our time the same way. Each time you use your time in activities that bring shame to God and diminish yourself and humanity, you have dishonoured God. Investing your time in activities that make a mockery of His person is dishonour, but when you use your time to seek the well-being and salvation of others, you have honoured Him.
2. Honour God with your Talent:
Your special ability is given to you to honour God, but it can also be used to dishonour Him. Eg, an orator, a dancer, a singer, or a wisdom. Your talent is your asset for service both to God and humanity. Matt. 25:24-28.
3. Honour God with your body:
1Cor.5:18-20. Your body is the temple of God. Honour Him with your body by keeping it holy and making it habitable and useful for God. You dishonour God with your body when you join your body with a stranger in sexual intercourse, when you overwork/use your body, making marks on your body like incisions and tattoos. You also dishonour God in your body when you eat or drink things that are harmful to your body.
4. Honour God with your Treasure:
Matt. 6:21. Your financial and material blessings are given to honour God and bless humanity. God expects you to honour him and not to fight Him and His people with your finances.
Deut. 8:18 Remember to honour God with what you have and serve Him well with your resources.
When you advance His kingdom work with your resources, you are honouring Him.
5. Honour God with your income: Prov 3:9. God Himself demands your first income in a season as an honour to Him.
BENEFITS OF HONOURING GOD
1. Inheritance is transferred through honour: Gen 27:3-4, Luke. 15:29-31
2. It brings multiplication of blessings: Prov. 3:9-10. Luke 17:16-19.
Perfection of blessings comes through honour.
3. Honour brings you uncommon favours:
It is the authority you honour that favours you. Esther 4:16', 6:2-4,11-12'. 2Sam5:2
Have a wonderful week full of His blessings in Jesus' name, amen.
