Why do you celebrate the birth of Christ?

Romans 8:1-4

It is out of both God’s love AND his justice that he sends Christ

Christ, emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, becoming less than evan an angel temporarily (Heb 1)

We are not the same. When Christ comes into the world it is the unveiling of the plan of God

We weren’t left to our own devices

Christ is the final revelation of God’s perfect plan

Heb 11 example

all those people waited in anxious anticipation for the unraveling of God’s beautiful plan

gave up their lives for it

We are celebrating and bearing witness to the birth of the promised plan to redeem mankind

How have you seen Christ’s love in your life?

The body of christ

family and friends that show you unending and enduring love

Providence

he gave or took away something as a mercy

Continual pursuit

you can still come back to the table even if you’ve wandered far
