1. Waiting is prayerful

• He asks for what he needs.
3. Waiting is expectant
• He expects God to hear him.
• He expects God to answer him.
4. Waiting is Word-Focused
• The object of hope is the Word of God.
• The beliefs about God are grounded in the Word.
