WHO is ELOHIM

ELOHIM (root is from the Hebrew Language meaning God) meaning Supreme , Mighty, The creator of ALL THINGS.

Genesis 1:1 ESV

In the beginning, God (ELO-HIM) created the heavens and the earth.

Before God created us (humans) before he created the Earth and all living things in it (animals, trees, oceans etc.)

What are other things you see everyday that God created?

Before he created everything you all said there was nothing.

Genesis 1:2 ESV

The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

In the beginning after God Created The earth the Spirit of God was floating over the Earth but God saw that it had no shape to it (it was not round as we know it now) its was completely empty and Dark with water.

I want you to pay attention to the first three words in Genesis 1:3

Genesis 1:3 ESV

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

These three words are repeated over and over again throughout the first chapter of Genesis.

What does it mean when its say “Then God said”. ?

Its means that everything that you and i can see, hear, touch smell, and taste was Created by God (Elohim) by the command of his Voice.

You and i can build things and created things from things that already exist but if you said “let the tree grow” a tree will not grow because you are not God But if God said “let the tree grow” that tree would grow just as he says in Genesis 1:3 “And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” only He is able to do that because he is supreme and can do everything

Colossians 1:16 ESV

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
