The Rule of God Executed Through the Will of God

📖 Matthew 6:10

“Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

This verse is the doctrinal hinge where Kingdom (rule) and Will (intent) become authority in action.

1. FOUNDATIONAL DEFINITION

βασιλεία (Kingdom)

The sovereign rule and governing authority of God, exercised through Christ, manifested by power, righteousness, and order.

θέλημα (Will)

The intent, desire, decree, and purpose of God—what He has determined to accomplish and what He commands to be done.

Kingdom Authority (Unified Definition)

Kingdom Authority is the God-given right and power to enforce God’s will wherever God’s rule is acknowledged.

2. DOCTRINAL AXIOM

Where God’s will is obeyed, God’s Kingdom is established. Where God’s Kingdom is resisted, God’s will is contested.

3. THE TRINITARIAN FLOW OF KINGDOM AUTHORITY

The Father — Source of Will

The Son — Executor of the Kingdom

The Spirit — Empowerer of Authority

📖 Luke 4:18 — “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me”

🔑 Kingdom Authority flows: Will → Word → Power → Order

4. THE LAW OF GOVERNANCE

Authority exists to enforce will, not to express opinion.

5. THE KINGDOM OPERATES BY DELEGATED AUTHORITY

🔑 Key Insight: Believers do not create God’s will — they administer it.

6. THREE LEVELS OF GOD’S WILL IN KINGDOM AUTHORITY

1. Sovereign Will (Cannot be stopped)

Kingdom Authority functions most clearly in the Missional Will.

7. CHRIST AS THE MODEL OF KINGDOM AUTHORITY

Jesus Never Acted Outside the Will

Jesus Never Lacked Power

🔑 Key Doctrine: Power flows where submission is complete.

8. FAILURE OF AUTHORITY: WHEN WILL & RULE SEPARATE

Legal authority remains

Functional authority collapses

9. KINGDOM AUTHORITY AT THE GATES

Gates are jurisdictional points where will is enforced.

Knowing God’s will

Standing in God’s rule

Enforcing both at the gate

10. THE EARTHLY MANDATE

Earth changes when heaven’s will is enforced through kingdom authority.

11. THE CHURCH: EXECUTIVE ARM OF THE KINGDOM

🔑 The Church is not a waiting room — it is an enforcement agency.

The Kingdom of God advances when submitted people exercise delegated authority to enforce the will of God in every sphere of life.
