The Eternal God took on human flesh.

Jesus lived among us.

We beheld His glory.

Matthew 17:1–2 “After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. He was transfigured in front of them, and his face shone like the sun; his clothes became as white as the light.”
2 Peter 1:16–18 “For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased!” We ourselves heard this voice when it came from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain.”
John 14:8–9 ““Lord,” said Philip, “show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been among you all this time and you do not know me, Philip? The one who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”

He experienced human nature.

John 4:6 “Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, worn out from his journey, sat down at the well. It was about noon.”
Mark 4:39 “He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Silence! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Matthew 26:38 “He said to them, “I am deeply grieved to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.””

He sympathizes with us.

Hebrews 4:5–6 “Again, in that passage he says, They will never enter my rest. Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news did not enter because of disobedience,”
Hebrews 5:8–9 “Although he was the Son, he learned obedience from what he suffered. After he was perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,”

He became the Author of eternal salvation for all who obey Him.
