Introduction
Well if you have your Bibles, you can open them to Galatians chapter 3. It has been a while since we have been in Galatians, but if you remember, Paul has been writing to the churches in the Southern region of Galatia, and he is dealing with a crucial point. Jews have made their way to these churches that Paul planted, and they are teaching the Gentiles that circumcision is necessary for conversion. Now, this may not seem like a big deal, but as we have gathered from this letter thus far.

(1) The Response of Faith (v.6)
a. Faith hears
Genesis 12:1 “The Lord said to Abram: Go from your land, your relatives, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.”
b. Faith believes
Galatians 3:6 “just like Abraham who believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness?”
c. Faith acts
Genesis 12:4 “So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.”
