3RD CHAPTER TONIGHT: WHEN GOD SEPARATES YOU: LEAVING PEOPLE BEHIND FOR CONSECRATION

ARE YOU READY ?

Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:37 If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine.

When God is calling someone higher, into deeper

intimacy, purpose or purity, He will often separate

them from people, even family or familiar circles, to preserve what He’s building within them.

Separation is not rejection, it’s protection.(READ 2X)

Separation Is a Biblical Pattern

From Genesis to Revelation, every man or woman deeply used by God went through a season of separation, from places, people, even family.

• Abraham, “Leave your country, your people and

your father’s household…” (Genesis 12:1)

• Joseph; Was separated from his brothers and falsely

imprisoned before being elevated (Genesis 37–41)

• Moses; Fled Egypt and spent 40 years in the

wilderness before God sent him back (Exodus 2–3)

• Jesus; Frequently withdrew from people, and even

said: “Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:37

• Paul; Was taken into Arabia after his conversion

before beginning public ministry (Galatians 1:15–18)

Why Does God Separate You?

A. To Break Familiarity

Familiar people often limit you to your past.

“Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” — Luke 4:22

God separates you to help you shed old labels and step into your calling.

B. To Purify Your Atmosphere

Not everyone can handle where you’re going.

Some family members or friends may: • Mock your fire

• Discourage your devotion.

• Be involved in ancestral altars, witchcraft, or carnality

• Pull you into arguments, distractions or guilt

1 Corinthians 15:33 — Bad company corrupts good

character.

C. To Preserve the Fire on Your Altar

Spiritual atmospheres are contagious.

When you carry glory, you must protect it like a flame in the wind.

Even Jesus said: Do not cast your pearls before swine — Matthew 7:6

Sometimes, God removes people who are:

• Manipulating you emotionally

• Delaying your progress

• Jealous of your growth

• Secretly praying against your destiny

You may grieve the loss, but God is guarding your oil.(2X)

Psalm 1:1 — “Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked…”

God Will Replace What You Lose

You will never leave anyone for God and come out empty.

Mark 10:29–30 — “No one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother… for Me… will fail to receive a hundredfold

He will send:

• Covenant friends

• Destiny helpers

• Spiritual mothers and fathers

• A tribe/FAMILY that fuels, not drains you

Don’t Force Connection Where God Has Called Separation

When God removes someone, don’t go back unless He

sends you.

Lot was not part of Abraham’s instruction, yet when

Abraham took him, it delayed destiny.

Genesis 13:14-17 After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. 15 I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession. 16 And I will give you so many descendants that, like the dust of the earth, they cannot be counted! 17 Go and walk through the land in every direction, for I am giving it to you.”

Sometimes, God won’t speak until your Lot is gone.

1). PRAYER TO EMBRACE GODLY SEPARATION:

“Father, give me the courage to walk away from every

relationship You didn’t ordain.

Help me discern where You are calling me out from,

whether people, places, or platforms.

I surrender the fear of being misunderstood, lonely or

rejected.

I trust You to preserve me, purify me, and position me for purpose.

Disconnect me from every atmosphere, friendship or

influence that endangers my altar.

I embrace divine separation for divine elevation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Separation feels like loss, but in the spirit, it is a setup for fire, clarity, and authority.

You are not being punished; you are being prepared.

You are not being isolated; you are being consecrated.

2 Corinthians 6:17 — “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord.”

LET ME INTERJECT SOMETHING RIGHT HERE: WE WILL NOW BE TALKING ABOUT DREAMS. HOW MANY PEOPLE HERE DO HAVE DREAMS? DO YOU BELIEVE GOD DOES USE DREAMS? AS A SIDE NOTE: SATAN DOES TOO

DREAMS THAT MAY REVEAL ASSOCIATION WITH EVIL

COUNSEL OR WRONG PEOPLE

1. Dreams Where You’re Eating with Strangers or People You Don’t Trust

• You’re sitting at a table with people feeding you or

eating with you.

• You feel uneasy but are still participating.

Interpretation:

This may represent spiritual covenants or soul ties with people offering ungodly counsel or influencing your decisions in the wrong direction.

2. Dreams Where You’re Following People Into Dark or

Unknown Places

You’re walking with others but feel lost, confused or

misled.

• You’re led into a pit, cave or unfamiliar territory by

someone you know.

Interpretation:

This indicates you’re being spiritually misled or influenced by

someone who does not carry God’s wisdom or is working against your destiny.

3. Dreams Where People Hand You Contracts, Gifts, or

Clothes

• Someone gives you a gift, ring or garment that feels

heavy or strange.

• You feel bound, trapped or indebted in the dream.

Interpretation:

This could signify manipulative relationships, soul-ties or false

covenants, especially if you feel like you’re being controlled in life.

4. Dreams Where You Argue, Fight, or Can’t Escape a Group of People

• You try to walk away but are blocked or pulled back.

• People fight to keep you in a place you’re trying to

leave.

Interpretation:

This shows a struggle to separate from toxic relationships or people who spiritually benefit from keeping you bound to them.

5. Dreams Where You’re Wearing Wrong Uniforms or in

Wrong Crowds

• You’re dressed like the people around you but you

don’t belong.

• You’re among rebels, criminals or people engaging in

sin, but you don’t feel like one of them.

Interpretation:

This could point to identity confusion, peer pressure or hidden soul connections tying you to people whose spirits are not aligned with God’s will.

6. Dreams of Snakes in Conversations or Whispering in Your Ear

• A snake speaks to you, wraps around your neck or

whispers.

• Someone you know speaks but their voice sounds

strange or serpent-like.

Interpretation:

This is evil counsel or deception, often coming from

someone close. It may signal manipulation, jealousy or a demonic assignment using familiar faces.

2). PRAYER DECLARATION:

“Lord, I surrender every connection in my life that You did not ordain.

I break every soul tie, covenant, word and influence that is not from You.

I cancel every manipulation, seduction and subtle

deception operating through people near me.

I walk out of ungodly counsel and into divine alignment.

I will no longer follow voices that lead me away from You.

My altar is sealed, my circle is consecrated and my

relationships shall honor the Lord.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!”

PRAYER POINTS FOR SEPARATION FROM BAD COMPANY & UNGODLY ASSOCIATIONS

1. Prayer to Identify and Break Free from Wrong

Relationships

1 Corinthians 15:33 – “Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to expose every

person in my life who is corrupting my character or

contaminating my altar. According to 1 Corinthians 15:33, I declare I will no longer be deceived. Break every hidden alliance and emotional dependency that ties me to wrong people. Shine Your light into my circle and remove every

assignment of the enemy disguised as friendship. Amen.

2. Prayer to Sever Ungodly Counsel and Influence

Psalm 1:1 – “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked…”

Proverbs 19:21 – “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

Prayer:

Lord, I reject and sever every ungodly counsel I have

received or followed. I refuse to walk in the advice of the wicked. Let every voice that contradicts Your Word be silenced in my life. Replace every false instruction with divine direction. According to Proverbs 19:21, let Your

purpose alone prevail in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

3. Prayer to Disconnect from Soul Ties and Spiritual

Attachments

2 Corinthians 6:14 – “What fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”

Prayer:

In the name of Jesus, I break every ungodly soul tie, every spiritual leash, and every emotional entanglement that keeps me yoked to wrong people. According to 2 Corinthians 6:14, I will not be unequally yoked with darkness.

I command every soul tie draining my strength, clouding my discernment or delaying my assignment to break now by the blood of Jesus!

4. Prayer Against Secret Monitoring and Manipulation by Familiar People

Micah 7:5 Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend

Psalm 64:2 –Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked

Prayer: Father, hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked. Any person in my life who has access to my information but is secretly working against me, reveal and remove them. I declare according to Micah 7:5 that I will no longer put confidence in those You haven’t assigned. Shield me from every familiar spirit working through familiar faces. Let every trap fail in Jesus’ name!

5. Prayer for Discernment and Boldness to Walk Away

Proverbs 4:14–15 – “Do not enter the path of the wicked…turn away and pass on.”

Galatians 1:10 – “If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

Prayer: Holy Spirit, sharpen my discernment. Give me the courage to walk away from relationships that endanger my purpose.

According to Proverbs 4:15, help me to turn away and pass on. I break free from the fear of man and the trap of

people-pleasing. Let every emotional guilt, manipulation or

confusion be dismantled. I choose obedience over familiarity, in Jesus’ name.

6. Prayer to Cancel Covenants Formed Through Evil

Associations

Isaiah 28:18 – “Your covenant with death will be annulled and your agreement with Sheol will not stand.”

Prayer: In the name of Jesus, I cancel and annul every covenant made through unholy relationships. According to Isaiah 28:18, let every agreement with spiritual death and let destruction be broken. I renounce every word spoken, gift received or agreement made, whether in ignorance or under pressure, that tied me to ungodly souls. Let the blood of Jesus erase every transaction in the spirit realm. Amen.

7. Prayer for God to Replace Wrong People with Destiny

Alignments

Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person

sharpens another.”

Psalm 68:6 – “God sets the lonely in families…”

Prayer: Father, bring the right people into my life, people who fear You, love Your presence and honor my calling. Replace every counterfeit with covenant relationships. According to Psalm 68:6, set me in a spiritual family that sharpens, builds and pushes me toward You. Remove every saboteur and send me destiny helpers and divine friends. Amen.

DECLARATION:

“By the power of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus, I disconnect from every ungodly alliance.

I will not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor stand in the path of sinners. I walk in purity, in purpose and in power.

My circle shall honor my calling and my altar shall remain undefiled. I am consecrated, preserved and aligned. In Jesus’ name.

Amen!”
