What is Praise
Fundamentally means an ascription of value or worth —it’s the act of recognizing and celebrating something or someone as worthy of honor.
Recognizes most immediately that God is God.
He Knows
He Understands
He Will Do What is Best
Biblical praise centers on how God is praiseworthy
Including God’s righteousness, faithfulness, goodness, covenant-keeping, steadfast love, and the person and work of Jesus Christ
This can be done in prayer, singing, Playing Music, drawing a Picture…
How do we do it?
Psalm 34:1–3 “1 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. 2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. 3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.”
