(00:01) Hi tent makers.
welcome to our third Bible cast video.
Today's verse is Matthew chapter 22 verse 39.
오늘 말씀은 마태복음 22장 39절 이야.
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”
너의 이웃을 너의 몸과 같이 사랑하라.
But who is your neighbor?
근데 그럼 내 이웃은 누구일까?
I used to think it just meant the people who live next door.
나는 예전에 그냥 옆집에 사는 사람들만 의미한다고 생각했어.
But Growing up, I learned it actually meant the people around me every day.
그런데 자라면서 매일 만나는 주변 사람들을 의미한다는 거라고 배우게 됐어.
(00:51) My friends 내 친구들 people I go to school with 학교 같이 다닌 애들
Even the people I don't get along with.
그리고 나랑 잘 맞지 않는 사람들까지.
And to be honest, that's the hardest part for me.
솔직히 말하면 그게 나한테 제일 어려운 부분이야.
It's so easy to be kind to only people that I like.
내가 좋아하는 사람들한테만 친절한 건 쉬워.
And it's hard to be kind to people that are not kind to us.
그리고 우리한테 친절하지 않은 사람들에게 친절한 건 엄청 어렵지.
(01:29) But Jesus doesn’t say “love only the easy people.”
하지만 예수님은 쉬운 사람만 사랑하라고 말씀하지 않으셔.
He tells us to love everyone the way we love ourselves.
예수님은 우리가 우리 자신을 사랑하듯이 모든 사람을 사랑하라고 해.
Even thought it’s hard let’s try to love our neighbors going forward.
어렵더라도 앞으로 이웃들을 사랑하려고 노력해보자
