Thesis: To prove that Christians are meant to go forward and not to turn around.

Introduction:

Point: We Must Not Turn Around!

            If we do, then we are worse off then we were before we obeyed the gospel: 2 Pet. 2.20-22

            We must forget the past and reach forward (Phil. 3.13)

            We must keep our eyes fixed upon Jesus (Heb. 12.2)

·         We will be able to see the possibilities even in the land of giants (Num. 13)

·         We will see the victory even in the face of a giant (1 Sam. 17)

·         We will have no fear in the valley of the shadow of death (Ps. 23.4)

·         We will see that those who are with us are more than those who are with our enemies (2 Kings 6.16-17)

Remember that we are a new creature; thus, the old things have passed away: 2 Cor. 5.17
