The 7 One’s #5:

One Faith

Thesis: To note the revelation that God has given us and to stress its importance in

              guiding us to Heaven.

Introduction:

(1)   Have you ever been lost?  If so, then you know the value of directions.

(2)   The Bible is God’s set of directions guiding us to Heaven.

Discussion:

I.                   The Bible comes from God.

A.    2 Timothy 3:16-17 – Inspired of God

B.     2 Pet. 1:20-21 – Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit

C.     2 Pet. 1:3 – All things we need for life and godliness

D.    Jude 3 – has been delivered

II.                The Bible must be followed.

A.    John 12:48 – Judged by the words of Jesus

B.     Col. 3:17 – Must do everything in the name of Jesus

C.     Rev. 22:18-19 – Must not add to it nor take away from it

Conclusion:

(1)   Are you on the path to Heaven?

(2)   If not, do you want to open up God’s set of directions and get on the path?
