Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.

1. You receive the DIRECTION from the Lord

So, How do We Make Right Decisions?

When Faced with Problems, we have 3 Choices

We can IGNORE the problem

We can choose NOT to SOLVE THE PROBLEM

We can choose to SOLVE our problem

Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

FOUR STEPS TO SOLVING OUR PROBLEMS

1. STOP & THINK

Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it, but an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later.

2. LOOk

Philippians 3:8 NIV84

What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ

3. LISTEN

We Need to Listen to GOOD ADVICE from others.

When Getting Advice, DESCRIBE your problem & ask what they would do.

Ask God for Help in Making Your Choices

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.

Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.
