1. Jesus’ Innocence Demonstrated

Why is it so important that the story points out that Jesus was declared to be innocent 3 times in the story?

= He was the spotless lamb of God.

2. Jesus’ Authority Declared

Jesus is only subject to his Father’s authority.

Jesus is sovereign over all suffering.

3. The Jews’ Allegiance Determined

Do we still need to choose to be a friend of Caesar or of Christ? How?
